Maria Weinert, ruthless and cold-hearted to the core, has built a global prostitution ring. Under the name “Pink Rose,” she runs a network that enslaves and sexually exploits young women, including minors. Now she is on trial, but before she can be held accountable for her crimes, she manages to escape. Maria’s trail leads to Malta, where the investigators Landauer and Röwer follow her. There, initial investigations reveal a connection to the German plastic surgeon Hendrik Meingast and his wife Ursel.
