To celebrate their three-year collaboration, Borchert (Christian Kohlund) has cooked up a big meal and invited his "boss" Dominique Kuster (Ina Paule Klink) and her father, his old friend Reto Zanger (Robert Hunger-Bühler), for dinner in his trailer - Reto's cell phone rings and the evening ends abruptly. Reto has to go to Geneva for a lucrative mandate and asks his daughter to represent him in court the next morning. Dominique agrees. After all, the case of Alexander Böni (Golo Euler) is purely routine - at least until he pulls out a gun and takes everyone present in the courtroom hostage! Captain Furrer (Pierre Kiwitt), first on the scene, takes over as negotiator, supported by Borchert. When they realize that Böni is playing a double game and Dominique is in grave danger, the otherwise so level-headed Furrer shows nerves. Borchert now has to find out on his own what the real issue is.
